The Stafford Web Project

A DACCAA-led initiative offering a free, professionally built website to eligible local businesses and charities in Stafford and the surrounding areas.

Overview

What the project is designed to do

The Stafford Web Project exists to help local organisations that need a credible online presence but may not be in a position to fund a full website build in the usual way.

£0 for the build

  • Website design and build provided free of charge
  • Hosting and maintenance from £29 per month
  • Applications reviewed on a three-month cycle
  • Focused on Stafford and surrounding areas

Who it is aimed at

The project is intended for small businesses that find normal website costs prohibitive, new businesses trading for six months or less, and independent local charities that need a stronger digital presence.

How it works

Applications are assessed on a rolling three-month cycle. Projects are selected based on eligibility, suitability, and available capacity, rather than being approved instantly.

Service area

The project focuses primarily on Stafford, while also covering areas such as Penkridge, Hixon, Seighford, Stone, Eccleshall, Barlaston, and Gnosall, alongside other nearby villages.
