About DACCAA
DACCAA is a modern digital studio creating elegant websites, smart iOS apps, and practical AI solutions. We are based in Stafford, we have been building things on the web since 2012, and we still answer the phone ourselves.
DACCAA did not begin as a business plan. It began as a curiosity. What is now DACCAA Ltd grew out of years of tinkering, learning, building, breaking and rebuilding, long before anyone was paying for the results. That long apprenticeship is the part of our story we are proudest of, because it means the studio you work with today is the product of genuine experience rather than a recently assembled brand.
By 2012 the work had a name and a first real project, and from there it kept growing. Over the years we experimented with everything from a search tool to creative side ventures, each one teaching us something about design, about code, and about what people actually need from the people who build their websites. We made plenty of mistakes along the way, and we learned far more from those than from anything that went smoothly.
In May 2020 Danny and Ethan formally turned the project into a proper business, focused at first on website development for local organisations. The work grew steadily to include iOS apps, AI automations and community technology projects, and on 4 February 2023 the studio became a registered company, DACCAA Ltd (company number 14639674).
Today we serve clients across Staffordshire and the West Midlands, work with people throughout the UK, and meet virtually with clients further afield. We have grown, but we have deliberately stayed small and personal. When you talk to DACCAA, you are talking to the people who will actually do the work.

Meet the team
DACCAA is run by the two people who started it. Both are University of Wolverhampton alumni, and between us we bring more than a decade of combined experience to every project.
Danny started building on the web as a young hobbyist and never really stopped. He is the founder behind the original project, and the years of self-taught experimentation that came before DACCAA Ltd shaped how he approaches everything now: practically, patiently, and with a real fondness for solving the problem in front of him. Today he leads on website design and development and the studio's AI workflows, turning fiddly manual tasks into automations that quietly save people time.
Ethan joined Danny after university and helped turn the project into a proper business in 2020. He shares the same University of Wolverhampton background and the same belief that good work should be straightforward to understand. He works across web builds and the studio's iOS app development, and he is usually the person making sure a project is well organised, clearly explained, and delivered without fuss.
How we work
A handful of principles guide everything we do. They are not slogans; they are the reasons clients tend to stay with us.
If something is not right for you, we will tell you, and we are happy to point you to a better option even when it is not us. We would rather give you the truth than the sale.
We are proud to be from Stafford. You deal with the people who do the work, not a sales team or a queue, and we are genuinely easy to reach.
We build things that work and earn their keep. Clean design and sensible technology beat gimmicks every time, especially when the goal is to help your business grow.
We are not interested in building something and disappearing. We stay on hand to keep your site running, updated and useful for years, not weeks.
We aim to run on close to fully green, renewable-powered servers. Doing good work and being kinder to the planet should not be a trade-off.
Through the Stafford Web Project and our free technology workshops, we try to make a professional online presence and good digital skills available to people who might otherwise miss out.
The journey

It started as a hobby and a habit of building things for the fun of learning how. No clients, no pressure, just a lot of curiosity and a steadily growing set of skills.
The work took on a name and a first proper project. This is the point we count from when we say we have been building on the web since 2012.
Danny and Ethan formally launched DACCAA as a business, focused at first on website development for local organisations, then broadening into apps and more.
