What to prepare before requesting a website quote

A short preparation list so your quote conversation is faster, clearer, and more useful — whether you work with DACCAA or another designer.

1. Your business basics

Have your trading name, location, and a plain-English description of what you sell ready. If you serve Stafford, Stone, or the wider West Midlands, say so — local wording helps the site speak to the right visitors.

2. The jobs the website must do

List the actions you want visitors to take: call, email, book, buy, or enquire. DACCAA designs Stafford business websites around those actions rather than filler pages.

3. Pages you already know you need

A typical starting set might include Home, Services, About, Portfolio or examples, and Contact. You do not need final copy on day one, but a rough page list makes scoping honest.

4. Examples you like (and why)

Share two or three websites you admire and one sentence on what works: clarity, trust, photography, booking flow, or speed. Links are more useful than vague style adjectives.

5. Brand assets you already have

Logo files, colours, photos, and any existing domain or hosting details save time. If you are starting from scratch, say that too — branding support can be part of the conversation.

6. Budget range and timing

A realistic range helps avoid mismatched proposals. DACCAA provides free, no-obligation quotes. Eligible local organisations may also ask about the Stafford Web Project (£0 website build, with hosting and maintenance from £29/month, subject to eligibility and the project’s published terms).
